Marissa is the Director of Engagement, Emerging Sector at Blokhaus – a marketing agency specialised in emerging technologies, from blockchain to AI. In this role, Marissa works closely with brands and projects to develop their content strategies, shape their brand narratives and engage with their target audiences effectively, as well as manage Blokhaus’ relationships with its client base.

Marissa is the producer and host of Glitchwire – a podcast and media platform for critical discourse on the transformative technologies shaping our world – from blockchain to AI and quantum computing. Each conversation is designed to help us make the leap from learning about emerging technologies to contemplating their ultimate impact – on a social, cultural and ultimately human level. Is the future we’re racing towards one that we want?

Marissa built her name within the emerging tech space as a professional host, moderator and emcee since 2016. She has hosted and led interviews at events such as SXSW, VidCon, NFT Paris, and NFT.NYC, specialising in NFTs, art, gaming and culture. Marissa was also responsible for curating and hosting all blockchain art-related conference programming at Art Basel (Basel, Paris, Miami).

Marissa is also the co-founder and host of Just So We’re Clear, a Singapore-born podcast focused on modern Asian womanhood.
