In 1971, designer Hans Hopfer conjured the idea of this "Mah Jong" sofa, which is still popular to this day. The concept is simple: A three-set sofa joined together in various shapes and orientations, forming the perfect lounging area.

The Mah Jong sofa is made of plain, hand sewed fabrics, giving the sofa set a distinctly authentic touch. Don't be mistaken by the Mah Jong sofa's simplistic look and feel, there are hundreds if not thousands of combinations one can arrange these sofa pieces, making unique sofa sets. One can even play around with the lengths of each sofa piece, or break them apart if necessary.
