Steve Chung is the Chief Operating Officer of Azuki and media executive with nearly two decades of experience building and growing some of the largest media and tech platforms in the world.

Formerly the Chief Global Officer of CJ ENM, one of Korea’s largest mass media companies, Steve additionally assumed the role of CEO for CJ ENM America in 2023, helping to grow it from one of Asia’s top media brands into a truly global media powerhouse. Prior to his role with CJ, Steve was the Chief Growth Officer for Fox Corporation, helping to expand the brand’s presence with new business incubation, strategic partnerships, M&A and other growth levers. His executive experience is vast, working as the Chief Operating Officer of social media platform We Heart It and as an executive producer for the flagship talk show 21@21 for Shanghai Media Group’s Dragon TV.

In addition to expanding well known media brands, Chung also has experience as a founder, establishing digital media platform Frankly as part of Stanford’s StartX incubator and would proceed to take the company public on the TSXV stock exchange through a reverse IPO. Steve also boasts strong experience in the world of venture capital, working with BlueRun Ventures with a focus on tech and media.Steve speaks fluent Korean and holds an MBA from Stanford University, receiving his undergraduate degree from Harvard, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
