A one-time investment banker and trader, Colborn Bell now collects and curates crypto art as director and cofounder of the Museum of Crypto Art.

The institution uses a token, called $MOCA, to give its community members a say in the direction of the project as part-owners and co-curators. The museum declares on its website that its earliest artwork acquisitions will “represent the earliest etchings on the blockchain, and will come to be regarded as the digital cave paintings of our transhumanist narrative.”
